KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 — The Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar is confident that former world number one shuttler, Datuk Lee Chong Wei is in good spirits in facing his doping hearing today.

In his Twitter, Khairy tweeted that he just spoke to Chong Wei regarding the hearing progress at Amsterdam, Netherlands in front of the three-member panel.

“Just spoke to @LeeChongWei who was taking a break from the disciplinary hearing. He was in good spirits. Keep praying for a good outcome,” he tweeted.

The ace shuttler, who was tested positive for dexamethasone, a banned substance at the Copenhagen World Championship last year, where he lost to China’s Chen Long in the final match. — Bernama
