KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 — A body was found in a burnt-out Perodua Myvi in Bukit Damansara today, The Star reported.

The newspaper’s online portal quoted Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Azlee as saying a security guard had placed a call to the authorities when he saw the car on fire near Jalan Setiabistari 1 this morning.

He added that the body, believed to be that of a man in his 40s, has been sent for a post-mortem examination to extract DNA for identification purposes.

Muhammad Azlee said the police do not suspect foul play but investigations are still ongoing to determine a cause for the fire.
