PETALING JAYA, Jan 29 — “It happened so fast,” said the mother of the child who fell to his death from the sixth floor, Block B, PPR Section 8, Kota Damansara yesterday evening.
Nor Sahura Sahara, 35, said she had just finished doing the dishes when her fourth son Muhammad Zul Haiqal Daniel Aiden,7, came running to inform that her youngest son, Muhammad Zul Hazriq Danish Aiden,5, had fallen.
She rushed downstairs to the ground floor to find her son lying face down in a pool of blood but he was still breathing.
In tears, Nor Sahura said she almost fainted and cried on seeing her son and had to be consoled and supported by residents at the scene.
She then got the help of residents to call for an ambulance, but it arrived after 30 minutes. By that time, her son was getting listless,” she told reporters after a visit by Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim, at her Kota Damansara home, near here today.
Muhammad Zul Hazriq Danish was taken to Sungai Buloh Hospital and was pronounced dead.
Nor Sahura said was routine for Zul Hazriq, the youngest of five siblings, to go out and play after lunch but he would only go when accompanied by one of his siblings.
The remains of Muhammad Zul Hazriq Danish was buried at Section 9 Kota Damansara Muslim Cemetery after ‘maghrib’ prayers yesterday.
In thanking the Social Wefare Department for the monthly donation of RM400, Nor Sahura said that she would seek counselling to get over the trauma of losing her son. — Bernama
