KANGAR, Feb 6 — A TV9 cameraman from Perlis, Beseri Din, 55, today lodged a police report after finding an alleged threat to kill his last child, written on his car windscreen.
According to Beseri, the death threat was written by hand on his Cherry model multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) which said ‘saya nak bunuh anak awak yang las’ meaning ‘I want to kill your last child’
He said he was only aware of the death threat note on his car windscreen, after being notified by a policeman, upon arriving at the Perlis police headquarters to cover a press conference by Perlis deputy police chief ACP Md Zukir Md Isa at 9.45am.
Beseri said since he had no known enemies, it would be difficult to understand the motive for such a threat to kill my last child — a seven-year-old daughter.
Kangar CID chief ASP Sabtu Md Ali who confirmed receiving a police report over the incident said the forensics department would be called in to assist in the investigation, especially to trace the finger prints. — Bernama
