KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 — An elderly woman passenger was seriously injured while 24 others, including the driver were slightly hurt, when an express bus skidded and overturned at Km27.9 of the North-South Expressway here last night.
Sepang police deputy chief DSP Zaldino Zaludin said the bus was heading for Johor Baru from Klang when the mishap occurred at 7.02pm.
“The unidentified woman, who complained of chest pains, other passengers and the bus driver had been sent to the Putrajaya Hospital,” he said.
All the victims were locals and the accident was believed to have been caused by a burst tyre, Zaldino added. — Bernama
