KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — Cracks have appeared on pillars at the entrance of the Malacca federal government complex, forcing over 1,200 staff to evacuate the premises.

The Star reported that cracks were also seen on the third and fourth floor of the four storey building. Some 12 agencies and departments, including the National Drug Agency and Immigration Department , are housed there.

After a loud noise was heard around 3pm, a call for evacuation was raised.

Officers of the National Security Council have ordered all staff to vacate the building until further notice.
