KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 — As the “balik kampung” exodus from the Klang Valley started in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive season holidays, Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (Plus) reported that traffic was generally smooth this morning on all major highways in the peninsula.
Plus Expressway Berhad spokesman said the number of vehicles on major highways was increasing but was still under control.
“No traffic congestion was reported,” the spokesman told Bernama when contacted for the 10am traffic report, today.
The spokesman said traffic flow along the Penang Bridge was also smooth.
