SINGAPORE, Feb 16 — As Singapore prepares to host its second edition of the global design salon Maison & Objet Asia this spring, all eyes will be on “Designer of the Year” Neri&Hu.
The design and research office from Shanghai has seen its profile rise considerably over the last few years and recently attracted attention for its “Das Haus” installation at IMM Cologne.
Maison & Objet Asia selects its Designer of the Year from among exceptional Asian talents.
Founded in 2004 by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, Neri & Hu Design and Research Office provides architectural, interior, master planning, graphic and product design services.
The studio has worked on projects including the London Bow Street Hotel, the Caylabne Bay Resort in the Philippines, the Waterhouse Boutique Hotel in South Bund in Shanghai and interiors for restaurants, retail spaces and private homes all over the world, as well as product designs for tableware, furniture and décor objects.
