KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 — For a peek into the lifestyles of the rich and famous, look no further than Rozita Che Wan’s glittering shopping sprees.

A TikTik video of her buying jewellery for her mother posted yesterday has received over 450,000 views and 10,000 likes.

In it, the 50-year-old actress looking resplendent in a green ensemble, can be seen taking out RM30,000 from an equally glorious green Birkin, to pay for the day’s purchases.

"Luckily, I brought a lorry-load of money to buy a bracelet for Mum,” joked Rozita, better known as Che Ta, while mum Zabedah Saad looked on.

The same trip to Angsa Emas jewellery shop can be seen in a separate video on Instagram.

In it, Che Ta is seen busy helping her mum and sisters choose from a dazzling selection of yellow and white gold jewellery.

"When a whole bunch of us siblings take over the shop...” she posted.

While the family happily tried on necklaces and rings, it was clear that bangles and bracelets were the order of the day.

Instagram users responded by praising Che Ta, the second of seven siblings, for being loving and generous to her mum and sisters.

"Wow, Che Ta buys gold like buying fish from the market,” said one user.

"They’re really crazy for gold, aren’t they?” said another.

Looks like it’s going to be a sparkling Hari Raya Haji for Che Ta and family.
