KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 — South Korean actor Song Joong-ki is now officially a dad, following the delivery of his baby son by wife Katy Louise Saunders yesterday.

The baby was delivered at Saunders’ hometown in Rome, Italy, Koreaboo reported, quoting Song’s statement on Instagram.

The Reborn Rich star added the mother and child were in good health and thanked his fans for their support.

The couple reportedly met while on the set of the 2021 Netflix series Vincenzo.

Song grew close to Saunders, who is a British actress, as she taught him Italian during the filming and started cohabitating in Seoul last spring. They announced their marriage in February following Saunders’ pregnancy.

Song was previously married to actress Song Hye-kyo before it ended in divorce in 2019.
