SINGAPORE, June 12 — Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be flying 10 times per week to Paris from October 30, up from the current seven flights, the national carrier announced today.

SIA currently flies once a day, every day, to the French capital; but from Oct 30 to March 24, there will be an additional flight every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

The move comes as part of the Northern Winter operation season. The additional flights, as well as the seven existing flights, will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, rather than the Airbus A380-800s, which currently serve the Paris route.

The planned additional flights are still subject to regulatory approvals. SIA said tickets will eventually be made available for sale progressively through various distribution channels. — TODAY
