SINGAPORE, Aug 21 — The island resort of Sentosa seems to be living up to its tagline of being the “State Of Fun”. And next month, the island is upping the ante with their latest event, FunFest 2015, a “mega inflatable beach festival”.

Held from Sept 5 to 13 at Siloso Beach, a highlight of this beach do is its Triple Slide Inflatable that stands at 12m high (that’s about the height of a four-storey HDB flat). It’s also the only triple slide inflatable in Singapore. Adrenaline junkies and older kids can also indulge in hours of fun at the Sway And Swing stations as they test their ability to hang on lest they risk plunging into the water if they lose their grip. There’s also the Bungee Run (you race against an opponent to see how far you can run before being catapulted back by a bungee cord); while children aged seven and below can navigate through an inflatable maze or zoom down a fun water slide.

“As Singapore’s ‘State of Fun’, Sentosa takes fun very seriously,” said Agatha Yap, director of Sales and Marketing at Sentosa Leisure Management. “We want to give Singaporeans of all ages a special occasion to come and have fun at a beach festival on Singapore’s ultimate playground. We are blessed with sunshine all year round and this is our opportunity to take advantage of the great beaches at Sentosa.”

She added: “We believe the festival will inject some good, wholesome fun into the lives of the young and young at heart, and serve as a great occasion to spend time with family and friends at the beach during the September school holidays.”

Sentosa’s FunFest 2015 runs from Sept 5 to 13, 10am to 7pm (last entry at 4pm). Tickets are priced at S$26 (RM76) per adult and S$18 (RM53) per child (ages 3 to 12). Admission for children below 3 is free. (Note: Tickets for Sept 5 are already sold out.) — TODAY
