INCHEON, Sept 28 — As expected, the women’s squash team delivered Malaysia’s third gold medal by winning the team event.
   

Malaysia beat India 2-0 in the final at Yeorumul Squash Courts yesterday.
   

Delia Arnold set the mood by beating Anaka Alankamony in three sets, 11-9,
12-10 and 11-2.
   

Squash queen Datuk Nicol David then beat Dipika Rebecca Pallikal 11-7, 11-6
and 11-3 to put the gold medal in the bag.
   

It was the reverse in the men’s team event as Malaysia lost 0-2 to India in
 the final.
   

Mohd Azlan Iskandar got off on the wrong foot losing to Harinder Pal Singh
Sandhu, 8-11, 5-11, 11-8 and 4-11.
   

In the second game, Ong Beng Hee put up a tough fight before losing to
Saurav Ghosal, 11-6, 7-1, 6-11, 14-12 and 9-11.

Malaysia’s medals hope lies with several events in diving, karate and
archery.
   

The men’s recurve team is in line for the gold medal as they line up against
China in the final tomorrow.

against Gu Xuesong, Qi Kaiyao and Yong Zhiwei.
   

Malaysia’s quest for the badminton gold medal rest on Datuk Lee Chong Wei
