KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 — One of the top 25 best international festivals in the world is back — come and enjoy a diverse of cultural music at the annual Rainforest World Music Festival 2016 (RWMF 2016) which will be held at the heart of Borneo jungle!

The one-of-a-kind festival that brings together renowned musicians from all over the world, as well as indigenous Bornean musicians, on the same stage will once again take place in Sarawak Cultural Village.

Also featuring informative workshops, ethno-musical lectures, jamming sessions and mini concerts in the afternoon, the main highlight of the event is the evening performances which will take place on the main stage presenting a wide range of performances from traditional music, to world fusion and contemporary world music.

As one of the largest musical events in Malaysia, this year, RWMF 2016 will be even bigger and more successful than before as Ghanaian legend Pat Thomas, Chinese reggae rock fusion band Shanren and also Irish traditional music band Téada are officially included in the line-up — with more performers to be announced soon!
