BEIJING, Feb 9 — Imagine Lord of the Rings but only the elves exist, and for some reason they all look Chinese – that’s what the upcoming TV drama Ice Fantasy looks like.
Based on a novel written by Guo Jingming, it will star Feng Shaofeng, Ma Tianyu, Victoria Song Qian, Xu Jiao, Zhang Meng, Wang Duo, and Madina Memet.
Apparently this will be one of the few mainland China productions that will feature an imaginary world, as opposed to Chinese historical or modern-day settings.
