LOS ANGELES, Jan 13 — The first trailer for Sony and TriStar Pictures’ Money Monster has been revealed.
Starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, the thriller tells the story of financial TV star Lee Gates and his producer, who are caught up in a hostage situation live on air when a distraught investor (played by Jack O’Connell) who lost his money following the Wall Street whiz’s advice breaks into the studio.
The film is directed by Jodie Foster, with the script penned by Jamie Linden, Alan DiFiore & Jim Kouf. It is set for release this May. — AFP-Relaxnews
