SINGAPORE, July 6 — Singapore superclub Zouk announced its initial line-up for ZoukOut 2015 yesterday.

The annual dance music festival will see the highest number of international acts making their debut this year in the event’s 15-year history, The Straits Times reported.

They include Swedish electronic music duo Axwell and Ingrosso, French DJ and rapper DJ Snake, and British deep house producer and DJ, Duke Dumont.

Dutch music producer Oliver Heldens and American techno and house music trio Visionquest have also been confirmed.

Zouk’s head of marketing and events, Sofie Chandra, told the newspaper that the initial line-up is “a good balance of electronic dance music headliners and deep house artistes”.

ZoukOut will be held on December 11 and 12 at Siloso Beach in Sentosa.

It is understood that the superclub will spend more than S$4.5 million (RM12.7 million) on this year’s ZoukOut with “more elaborate production set-up, pyrotechnics and artiste line-up and entertainers”.

It is expected that a total of 30 international and local dance music acts will hit the stage over the two-day event.

Other crowd favourites who are slated to play include Grammy-winning DJ and record producer Tiesto, American DJ Kaskade and Australian dance duo Nervo.

More acts will be announced in August or September, when ticket sales start, Chandra added.
