KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 ― Recent pictures of Ashraf Sinclair and his wife Bunga Citra Lestari on holiday in Greece have caused quite a stir with certain parties deeming the pictures as being “too sexy” and going against Islamic teachings.
Many have taken to social media to criticise the actor and his wife including posting advice on their Instagram accounts on how they should “dress”.
An irate Ashraf, through a latest Instagram posting, has urged people to stop hiding behind religion to justify their negative comments.
“Guys, stop posting your advice. I don’t know you and you don’t know me. What I do is for me. If you don’t like, don’t or get blocked. This is me asking nice. And don’t hide behind religion. Religion is between you and God, me and God,” wrote Ashraf recently.
