KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 — Parkson Holdings Bhd’s pre-tax profit declined to RM50.05 million for the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2014 from RM79.28 million chalked up in the same period last year.
Revenue, however, increased to RM848.62 million, during the period under review, from RM831.32 million recorded previously.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company attributed the weaker performance to lower contribution from its operations in Malaysia, China, Vietnam and Myanmar. — Bernama
