KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 — The Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) alliance has secured Negeri Sembilan with a two-thirds majority win in the state election today.
Based on data released by the Election Commission (EC) at 10.33pm, PH-BN has so far won 24 of the 36 seats at stake, in turn paving the way to form a much stronger state government.
Perikatan Nasional (PN) has only managed three seats so far.
The Negeri Sembilan legislative assembly was dissolved on July 1.
In the 14th general election (GE14), PH won 20 seats and BN, who was then contesting as its rivals, took 20. — Bernama
