KUALA TERENGGANU, April 6 — Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman is scheduled to have an audience with Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin on Wednesday (April 11) to get the Sultan’s consent to dissolve the State Assembly.

The Mentri Besar’s Office in a statement here today said the audience is scheduled for 8am at Istana Syarqiyyah, Kuala Terengganu.

“It is to pave the way for the 14th general election in line with the dissolution of Parliament as announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today.

“A press conference will be called after the State Executive Council meeting the same day, at 12.30pm at Wisma Darul Iman,” the statement said.

Terengganu has eight parliament and 32 state seats.
