Security guard claims trial to injuring, issuing death threats to wife

KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 — A security guard pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court here today, to two charges, one of voluntarily causing hurt and the second of making death threats against his wife last week.

K. Kumaran, 36, who has hearing problems, allegedly committed the two offences against R. Thanaletchmy, 38, at block G, PPR Kampung Baru Air Panas, Setapak, here, at 8.30pm on May 19.

Magistrate Mahyudin Mohmad Som set bail at RM2,000 in one surety for the first charge and RM1,000 in one surety for the second charge.
