KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — The divorce case involving lawyer Stanley Clement Augustin and wife Gee Siew Yee at the Family High Court here was postponed today.
The case, scheduled before Family High Court judge Datuk Siti Mariah Ahmad, was postponed to enable Gee to appoint a new lawyer as the previous lawyer had withdrawn from representing her.
The court set Aug 16 for case management.
In the divorce petition filed in December 2014, Stanley named Gee as the respondent.
The former deputy public prosecutor said he married Gee through a civil marriage on April 24, 2007, two days prior to his retirement from the civil service.
Stanley, 65, claimed that he was a widower with three children when he married Gee, 54, who is a businesswoman. Gee was then a widow with two children. — Bernama
