KUALA TERENGGANU, March 10 ― Terengganu Mentri Besar (MB) Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said he believed the action of Kijal State Assemblyman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said who tabled a motion for a vote of no confidence against him was done at the prompting of certain quarters.

“I was alerted to be cautious as there will be outside movements wanting to topple me.

“I received the information from Kuala Lumpur,” said Ahmad Razif when speaking at a special meeting of Barisan Nasional (BN), Umno Veterans Club and the Terengganu Malaysian Council of Former Elected Representatives here, tonight.

The Terengganu State Assembly sitting yesterday which became chaotic yesterday following the proposal of a vote of no confidence, was, however, smooth today.

In fact, the Kijal assemblyman was a no-show at the assembly's sitting today.

Ahmad Razif, in his speech, said his agenda now was to ensure Terengganu BN remained strong and created as much success as possible to ensure the BN won big in the 14th general election. ― Bernama
