SINGAPORE, March 10 — The refund process for ticket holders of the cancelled Future Music Festival Asia will begin in batches from today, and the process is expected to take between 30 and 45 days to complete.
Livescape Singapore said all SISTIC and Galactix ticket buyers who purchased tickets via a credit or debit card would have refunds credited directly into their respective accounts.
Reimbursements are expected to take up to 30 to 45 days, or within seven to 14 days if the tickets were purchased using a local credit or debit card.
Those who paid with cash or eNETS may collect refunds at the SISTIC headquarters at the Singapore Post Centre.
Details will be announced at a later date.
As for those who bought tickets through an authorised travel agent, the organisers have instructed the agents to refund them directly within 30 to 45 days.
Livescape sold about 15,000 of the 20,000 tickets available for the festival, which was scheduled to be held on Friday and Saturday.
The authorities thrice denied the organisers’ applications for a permit, citing serious concerns over potential drug abuse at the event. — TODAY
