SUBANG, Feb 12 — Families of the Chinese passengers aboard Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370 were told by the airlines this afternoon to wait three days for an explanation on the fate of their loved ones.

Kelly Wen, whose husband Li was on the flight, said the small band of families from China had earlier today submitted a letter to MAS chief executive officer Ahmad Jauhari Yahya at Subang Airport.

“They will reply to us in three days,” Wen said.

She did not elaborate further on the contents of the group’s letter to the airline.

Earlier today, international press AFP reported that the Chinese relatives protested outside the airline’s office before they were told to move to Subang Airport to meet officials there.

Unhappy with Malaysia’s declaration last month that the plane was an accident with no survivors, around 15 of them arrived here late last night with questions over the flight for which no evidence of its fate has been found.

Dressed in red shirts printed with the words “Pray for MH370”, they say that they do not want to be forgotten, even as international attention has died down over what is viewed as one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history.

“Who can tell us what happened? Please help us! Come back MH370,” read a placard, summing up their emotional plea.
