PUTRAJAYA, 11 Sept — The Malaysian Examination Board director Dr Na’imah Ishak today lodged a police report on the leak in the question papers for English Language 014/1 and 014/2 (Paper 1 and 2) for the Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR).

She lodged the report at 7.50pm at the Putrajaya district police headquarters after seeing a picture of a set of questions published in a Malay tabloid was similar with the actual English Language question paper for UPSR.

Putrajaya district police chief ACP Abdul Razak Abdul Majid said the case would be investigated under Section 8 of the Official Secrets Act 1972.

Police have recorded statement from the complainant and are investigating, he said when contacted by Bernama.

Today's report is the second lodged by Dr Na’imah. Yesterday, she lodged a report on the leak in the question papers for Science 018, 028, 038, also at the Putrajaya police station.

The Examinations Syndicate had announced that pupils would have to resit the 2014 UPSR Science 018, 028 and 038 papers as well as the English Language 014/1 and 014/2 papers on Sept 30 following a leak. — Bernama
