KUANTAN, Sept 1 — The fully clothed body of a young man was found in the bushes at Km21 Jalan Pintasan Kuantan-Gebeng, near Gebeng police station here at 8 am today.
Kuantan police chief ACP Abdul Aziz Salleh said the dead man believed to be known as Che Badrol Hafiz Che Hamzah, 21, resided in the house under the Permatang Badak low cost housing scheme here.
He said the corpse was found by an Orang Asli man who by chance happened to enter the forest area, near where the body lay, with two friends looking for birds.
“However, there was neither sign of a struggle nor traces of blood or injuries on the body,” Abdul Aziz said here today.
The body was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan for post-mortem to determine the cause of death. — Bernama
