PETALING JAYA, May 29 — The Malaysia Airlines (MAS) System Employees' Union (Maseu) will send a memorandum to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak next week to request for a restructure of the MAS top management.

Maseu executive secretary Mohd Jabbarullah Abd Kadir said the memorandum was aimed at urging the government to intervene in the top management, with new candidates to turn around the national airline.

He said the move could save the company from worsening losses and enable it to compete healthily with other airlines.

He appealed to the prime minister to appoint individuals who could bring profits to MAS.
