KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — Malaysia needs entrepreneurial youths to develop and generate national riches, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Najib on his Facebook page today said the important criteria for Malaysian youths were moderation, knowledge, skills, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, love for the nation and morality.
He also wanted Malaysian youths to become an example to all Malaysians as the youths of today were the builders of tomorrow.
“Happy 46th National Youth Day to all Malaysian youths and those young at heart! Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, and integrity, be an example to all Malaysians as the youths of today are the builders of tomorrow,” he said.
The Putrajaya Youth Festival will be held for three days beginning tomorrow at Persiaran Perdana, Putrajaya in conjunction with National Youth Day 2014. — Bernama
