KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — Weather, human and infrastructure, as well as the physical make-up of the Kudat Airport were among factors which caused the Twin Otter aircraft of MASWings to crash at a village in Kudat, Sabah on Oct 10.
Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the factors were obtained from the initial report of the ministry’s Air Accident Investigation Division and the Department of Civil Aviation which were directed to investigate the crash.
“A complete report will be presented to me in a month’s time,” he said at a media conference on despatching humanitarian aid to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines here today.
