KUALA LUMPUR, Sep 22 — Twenty-five blind athletes will join a special walk-cum-treasure hunt which will be launched on Sunday, held to raise awareness on the social issue of child brides.
Volunteers are needed to guide them so step in if you can and do your bit for society.
Held over a month, members of the public can take part in the Move8-VR Walk-a-Hunt until October 30.
As part of the inaugural AFT International Sports Fitness Festival held in Bukit Bintang, KL, the Walk-a-Hunt promotes inclusivity in sports by inviting everyone to take part, including people of physical disabilities and neurodiversity.
This year, Bukit Bintang is hosting the International Sports & Fitness Festival in conjunction with World Day of the Deaf on September 24 and Malaysia Day celebrations from September 16 to 30.
The Walk-a-Hunt from KLCC Park-Bukit Bintang is not just another treasure hunt.
It’s specially designed with a VR element to engage the public and tourists in a leisure cognitive experience within and around Bukit Bintang.
There is no grand prize so you won’t find people running around trying to outsmart each other or racing to be the first to finish.
The winning factor is being present, bonding with your teammates and experiencing the journey together.
You and your team can even take a break at any time during the walk.
