SINGAPORE, June 18 — Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin is reportedly not getting married to Miss Singapore Universe 2009 Rachel Kum despite earlier news reports saying otherwise, according to the Daily Mail.

The 33-year-old Saverin, who was the former chief financial officer and business manager of Facebook before calling it quits, was reportedly set to walk down the aisle with Kum on June 27 in a multi-million-dollar wedding on the French Riviera, as reported by Brazilian website Glamurama.

His spokesman, however, denied reports that they are getting married, and said the two have never even dated, Daily Mail reported.

Singapore-based Saverin, said to worth US$5.1 billion, gave up his US citizenship in 2011 and moved to the island city in 2011 in a move said to have saved him US$700 million in taxes.

He is believed to have not returned to the US after giving up his citizenship, even for the weddings of other Facebook co-founders like Mark Zuckerberg, Chris Hughes, Dustin Moskovitz and Sean Parker.

Beauty queen Kum, who also won the Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Personality titles when she won the Miss Singapore Universe in 2009, co-founded Rachel K Cosmetics after the win.

She graduated in Finance at the University of Western Australia and traded commodities in a hedge fund company before participating in the pagent.

Saverin reportedly attended the launch of her company as a friend and special guest.
