KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 — A 30th anniversary edition of the 1993 Nirvana album In Utero is slated to be released later this month, featuring 53 unreleased concert tracks from the iconic grunge band.

Record labels Geffen and UMe announced yesterday that the deluxe version of In Utero, which featured tracks such as All Apologies and Heart-Shaped Box, was going to be put out again with the unreleased music and photos from the time, reported People.

Originally released in 1993 as a 12-track album, In Utero, Nirvana’s third and last album, marked the band’s first effort to debut on top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Now, the body of work will be reissued in several formats — 8LP super deluxe box set, 5CD super deluxe box set, 1LP + 10” edition, 2CD edition and digital super deluxe edition.

The band was made up of late lead singer Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide at 27 on April 5, 1994 and bassist Krist Novoselic.

Drummer Dave Grohl joined in 1990 and found massive success with the Foo Fighters in the years after Cobain’s death.
