ISTANBUL, July 12 — Qatar’s former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani died today morning at the age of 74, the country’s Amiri Diwan announced.

The Amiri Diwan announced his death in a statement posted on the X platform, Anadolu Ajansi reported.

“May God grant him His mercy and forgiveness,” it added.
