JAKARTA, Oct 25 — Indonesian presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto promised in an election manifesto published today to fully eradicate extreme poverty within the first two years of taking office.
He said he was optimistic the country’s biodiesel B50 and ethanol E10 programmes can be achieved in 2029 and also pledged to modernise military hardware.
Prabowo is one of three candidates running in the 2024 election. — Reuters
