Ukraine hails 'snowball' effect of French armoured combat vehicles pledge

KYIV, Jan 31 — Ukraine’s defence minister said today that a decision by France this month to provide Kyiv with light AMX-10 RC armoured combat vehicles had had a “snowball” effect, with other allies later promising to send tanks.

Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov made his comments in Paris after talks with French Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu. — Reuters
