SINGAPORE, June 7 — An overturned trailer on Keppel Road, after Kampong Bahru Road, snarled traffic and disrupted bus services in the area this morning.
No one was trapped in the overturned vehicle, according to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was was alerted to the incident at around 6:50am.
It sent two fire engines, two fire bikes and an ambulance to the scene.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) tweeted at around 10:40 am that Keppel Road after Kampong Bahru Road was closed due to the accident.
The trailer had overturned on the left side of the two-lane road.
Traffic Police officers were stationed at the scene to help manage the situation.
SBS Transit said that bus services 10, 30, 57, 80, 100, 131 and 145 will skip the bus station along Keppel Road due to the vehicle accident. — TODAY
