SINGAPORE, June 10 — For greeting the staff and saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’, customers paid S$2 (RM5.12) instead of S$5 for their coffee at a pop-up cafe set up yesterday by the Singapore Kindness Movement at Raffles Place. The cafe is part of the movement’s effort to promote mutual respect and courtesy between service staff and customers, as well as foster a more positive service culture in Singapore. The cafe will be at Raffles Place until tomorrow and at the National Library Board Atrium on June 14 and 15. — Today
