SINGAPORE, March 25 — The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore’s penthouse Ritz Suite has just had a spanking new overhaul, and it is more breezy and beautiful than ever.
Located on the 32nd floor, it comes with a fully stocked bar, a walk-in closet off the bedroom, a formal dining room that seats 10 which can transform into a boardroom, bespoke furnishings and custom textiles designed by Terry Hunziker.
The price? Well, the 218sqm space only costs between S$12,500 (RM36,686) and S$15,000 a night, that’s all.
For that price, you get an unbeatable view of Marina Bay and the floating platform from the 32nd floor, which explains why it is already booked up for this year’s Formula One season. And here are five more things you’ll get if you splash for a night at The Ritz Suite.
A butler
Your own personal Jeeves is on duty 24 hours a day to fulfil your every whim. He is also a professional bartender and will make you any cocktail you could possibly want, so don’t let him down by asking for a Milo Dinosaur.

Entertainment room
The hangout space comes with a 79-inch LCD television, customisable game consoles, a plush sofa, a leather recliner and an oversized work desk. All you have to do is microwave your own popcorn in the fully equipped pantry and you’re all set.
Famous artwork
There are four works of art by two of the world’s most renowned artists and they come straight out of Ritz-Carlton’s owner’s personal collection. In the living room are two Andy Warhol prints featuring bright flowers; while in the entertainment room hang two Damien Hirsts: Packages of familiar pharmaceutical drugs with their names replaced with “Dumpling” and “Liver bacon onions”.
Your own playlist in each room
Download the Sonos app onto your mobile device, and you will be able to play your own music over the suite’s sound system by connecting to the Wifi system. The coolest part is that you can play different playlists in different rooms — a perkier soundtrack for the living area, perhaps, and a quieter one for the bedroom.

A two-metre tub and steam room
You know you’re in the lap of luxury when the bathroom looks bigger than the bedroom. This bathroom boasts a two-metre bathtub with a spectacular view of the city, a double-sink vanity, a huge leather ottoman and a shower area that also doubles up as a steam room. Trust us when we say you’re going to be sorely tempted to spend all your time in here.
