SEPANG, Feb 3  — Malaysia Airlines (MAS) launched its first flight to Krabi, Thailand, departing from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), here, at 2.55pm today.

Its regional senior vice-president Malaysia, Datuk Muzammil Mohamad said Krabi was another holiday destination in Thailand that Malaysians loved.

“It is more family-friendly and it’s easier to get ‘halal’ food there,” he told reporters after the simple send-off at KLIA.

He said the four times weekly flights to Krabi would be operating via MH770 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
