POH, Dec 21 — The Football Association of Perak (PAFA) has selected Shahrul Mohd Saad of Felda United FC and Mohamad Fazrul Hazli Mohd Kadri of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) to strengthen the state team in the Malaysia League competition next year.
Its president, Datuk Seri Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan, said Shahrul, 22 and Mohd Fazrul Hazli, 26, were chosen for the Perak Super League squad next season to boost their defence and attack.
“PAFA is grateful to Felda United FC for verbally agreeing to release Shahrul and we are preparing the documents for the transfer,” he said in a statement today.
Shahrul of Taiping had turned out for Harimau Muda A and B and he was fielded in a match against Harimau Malaya.
Mohamad Fazrul Hazli, who hails from Gerik, represented Perak in the 2011-2012 season before being transferred to Sime Darby FC in 2013. — Bernama
