PETALING JAYA, June 24 — Malay Mail is giving away more than 500 tickets to fans of Liverpool FC for their match against Malaysia XI at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil on      July 24.

Kuala Lumpur will be the fourth destination for Liverpool FC — after Bangkok, Brisbane and Adelaide — on their English Premier League pre-season tour this year.

The match here is organised by the  Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and ProEvents International Sdn Bhd, with tickets priced at RM88, RM158, RM228, RM328 and RM428.

A special rate of RM58 is offered for students from the age of seven, limited to three tickets a person.

Shekhinah PR Sdn Bhd CEO Christopher Raj, who is in charge of public relations for the tour, said Liverpool FC’s strong supporter base was the main reason the team were playing here again.

“When they were here four years ago, the response was overwhelming. Nearly 90,000 people filled the stadium to  capacity,” he said.

“This time it will be better because of other activities taking place. There will be coaching clinics, community work with youths, and meet-and-greet sessions.”

Watch out for Malay Mail’s social networking reports for more information on how you can get your hands on the tickets to see Liverpool FC, including their new signings James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan and Joe Gomez, in action.
