KUALA LUMPUR, August 11 — Actor Kamal Adli has lost interest and fears sharing his life on social media following being attacked in Singapore.

The 37-year-old, whose full name is Ahmad Kamal bin Ahmad Adli, said the March incident, that saw a ‘fan’ beating him with a baton, has resulted in him being scared according to OhBulan.

“The incident had made me scared and I automatically lost my mood to share anything on social media,” he said, adding that he needed time to return to his former self.

“After all, what happened to me was serious,” he said, saying he still wonders what he did to prompt the attack.

“I doubt I have disturbed anyone. This led me to think even though we are good, there will be people who are unhappy with us,” he said.

It was reported that Kamal and his wife Uqasha Senrose were in Singapore for the three-day Hari Raya Mega Sale 2023, at Hall 5A of the Singapore Expo when the incident happened at the end of the event.

A 33-year-old man has since been charged in the State Courts there on March 14 for “his suspected involvement in a case of voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon”.

Looking back, Kamil said he was thankful to be alive and healthy to continue working.

“I was not a mean person but after this, I will be a better person,” he said.
