KUALA LUMPUR, October 20 — Hollywood actress and director Olivia Wilde is currently facing the heat after allegations detailing her relationship with ex-partner, Jason Sudeikis, were published by Daily Mail earlier this week.

Detailing Wilde and Sudeikis' last days as a couple, allegations by a former nanny include that of Sudeikis becoming upset after Wilde had made her special salad for her Don’t Worry Darling star, Harry Styles, as well as Wilde giving up her dog in order to spend more time with the British heartthrob.

The nanny also claimed that they had fired her without any severance pay.

Wilde and Sudeikis have refuted the nanny’s allegations via a joint statement to E! News.

"As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly,” they said in the statement.

The couple accused the nanny of harassing them as well as their loved ones, close friends, and colleagues for the last 18 months, adding that the allegations have ‘reached its unfortunate apex’.

"We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.”

Sudeikis and Wilde were together for about 10 years before splitting in early 2020.

Their breakup made headlines back in November, about the same time Wilde was working on her film Don’t Worry Darling with her now-boyfriend, Styles.

Wilde took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to share a page from Nora Ephron’s novel Heartburn which also includes a salad recipe in one of the paragraphs.

The 1983 autobiography novel is about Ephron’s rocky marriage and eventual divorce from her second husband, Carl Bernstein.

Wilde’s Instagram story is believed to be a response to the allegations made by her former nanny.

In the article, Sudeikis was said to have been left fuming after Wilde prepared a salad for Styles with her ‘special dressing’, which resulted in the Ted Lasso star ranting furiously at Wilde while filming the encounter.

Sudeikis was also said to have tried to prevent Wilde from leaving by lying under the car.

Reports also shed light on Wilde’s growing interest in Styles to the point where she gave away her dog, a golden retriever named Gordon, just so she could spend more time with Styles.

The former nanny said that Wilde had arranged for Gordon to live with Wilde’s New York-based dog walker.

"After (Wilde) left (at the start of November 2020), she came for a visit and said, 'we have to find Gordon a new home', nonchalantly.

"Jason doesn't really care for animals and wanted him out of their home as soon as possible. Jason said Olivia only had the dog for appearances anyway.

"She rarely cared for Gordon or Paco, the dog she had before. It was myself and others who cared for the dogs. I told Jason I knew somebody who loves Gordon and was willing to take him in so Jason said, "let's get him out of here right away",” the nanny said.

The nanny also said that Sudeikis compared Wilde’s affection towards Styles to drug addiction.

Previously, Wilde told Vanity Fair that her relationship with Sudeikis ended long before she met Styles.

While she admitted that they ‘had a very bumpy road’ prior to their breakup, Wilde said that they ‘officially dissolved' the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic, but continued living together and co-parenting at that time.

"Once it became clear that co-habitating was no longer beneficial for the children, it became the responsible thing to not,"

"Because we could be better parents as friends who live in different houses,” she said.
