LOS ANGELES, Feb 22 — Universal Pictures has set the newest dinosaur adventure movie, Jurassic World 3, for June 11, 2021.

Emily Carmichael and Colin Trevorrow will co-write. They will work off a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, who together wrote Jurassic World and this summer’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Newcomer Carmichael co-wrote the upcoming Pacific Rim Uprising (out on March 23rd), and most recently rewrote The Black Hole for Disney and director Joseph Kosinski.

In the meantime, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, directed by JA Bayona, is set to open on June 22, 2018. Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow return to executive produce the latest instalment of the franchise.
