LOS ANGELES, March 14 ― Placebo is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its platinum debut album Placebo with a world tour.
Titled “20 Years,” it will kick off in Denmark on October 13, with the first leg of dates culminating in London’s Wembley Arena on December 15.
Lead singer Brian Molko has promised fans the group will play some of its most popular material, such as the tracks Pure Morning and Nancy Boy.
“Let’s just say there will be songs in the set that I’ve sworn never to play again,” Molko says. “I think it’s time that we purposefully acknowledged what a lot of Placebo fans really want to hear.”
Tickets will go on pre-sale at 9 am on March 16. ― AFP-Relaxnews
