BEIJING, Dec 28 — After months of a is-she-or-isn’t-she bump watch, Zhang Ziyi has confirmed that she gave birth to a daughter in the United States yesterday.
She shared the good news today with her fans on her official Weibo with a touching picture of two hands holding a tiny hand.
The accompanying message was short and sweet: “Dec 27, 2015, you, me and her... The birth of the little one allows us to have a family of our own! Everything is well, I am indefinitely grateful!”
The baby is the 36-year-old actress’ first child with her rocker husband Wang Feng whom she reportedly married in May.
The 44-year-old Voice of China judge, who has two daughters from a previous relationship, reposted the announcement on his Weibo account shortly afterwards.
His message read: “The dust settles, spring begins and flowers bloom.”
No other details were available at time of writing.
