SEOUL, July 21 — Pixar’s latest film, “Inside Out”, topped the South Korean box office over the weekend to become the animation studio’s biggest film yet in the country.

Variety reports that the film earned US$6.55 million (RM24.963 million) from 939,000 admissions between Friday and Sunday, making for a cumulative total of US$14.2 million over two weekends.



Next up at the box office in South Korea was the naval battle drama “Northern Limit Line,” which drew in US$3.57 million, followed by “Pixels”, which opened on Thursday and earned US$3.3 million in its first four days.



Other top earners in the country — where worldwide box office winner “Minions” is not due to release until July 29 — included “Insidious: Chapter 3”, “Terminator: Genisys” and “Jurassic World”. — AFP-Relaxnews
