KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts closed lower today, in tandem with the weaker performance on the underlying cash market.
June 2015, July 2015 and September 2015 fell nine points each to 1,725, 1,725.50 and 1,723 respectively, while December 2015 dipped 17.50 points to 1,713.
Turnover rose to 10,566 lots from 5,764 lots on Friday, while open interest increased to 42,949 contracts from 37,141 contracts.
The benchmark FBM KLCI ended 5.88 points lower at 1,739.45 points. — Bernama
